Political contribution refund program

PCR program reinstated for contributions made on or after July 1, 2017

Click links on the right to get refund forms

Minnesota refunds up to $50 per calendar year of contributions made by an eligible voter to a qualified candidate or a recognized political party.

To receive a refund, the donor must obtain a political contribution receipt from the qualified candidate or party unit and submit it to the Department of Revenue along with a contribution refund application form.  Two versions of the form are available at the quick links in the box at the right.

A candidate is qualified to issue political contribution refund receipts if the candidate has signed an agreement to limit spending during the election cycle.
